Job Description

The FSO (Far Back End and Sort Organization) is seeking a Module Equipment Technician to support engineering and operations within the Metrology module. Responsibilities include maintaining and recovering equipment, addressing tool/module-related issues, updating specifications, training, assisting in qualifying tools, executing experiments, and ensuring tasks are completed according to published procedures. The role involves monitoring and resolving equipment-related problems, working closely with Module Engineering, and working in a team to establish and execute module goals and priorities. The position is for the night shift, requiring work in a clean room environment and adherence to safety protocols.
Must have:
  • Support Metrology module operations with equipment maintenance and recoveries.
  • Address tool/module related issues and update equipment specifications.
  • Work with Module Engineering to execute experiments and follow procedures.
  • Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or relevant experience.

Job Description: 

The Far Back End and Sort Organization (FSO) is looking for a Module Equipment Technician.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support engineering and operations within the Metrology module with sustaining such as lot movement, equipment-related issues, equipment maintenance/recoveries, and projects.
  • Monitors and address all tool/module related issues. Updates existing specs that support overall equipment maintenance/performance/recoveries, performing training, and help Engineering in qualifying tools.
  • Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
  • Supports Metrology in. solid team skills as well as strong process and/or equipment knowledge.
  • Dispositions materials that fail a certain criteria per published procedures.
  • Communication link for Metrology Engineers, other teams, and vendor support personnel and are expected to work within the module team to help build the team and establish and execute to module goals and priorities.

This position is for a compress NIGTH shift only, (7:00pm to 7:30am).

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's Degree in a science, technology, math, engineering, or STEM discipline.
  • OR Highschool diploma and a 1+ year technical certification in a technical field such as Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, or similar STEM discipline (candidate must possess the certification or expect to complete the required certification by employment start date).
  • OR Highschool diploma and military training in a technical field such as electronics, mechanical, or similar technical field; at least 6 months of hands-on experience.
  • OR Highschool diploma and 1+ years of experience with preventative maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting.
  • OR Highschool diploma and 1+ years of experience with equipment troubleshooting installation, qualification, repair, or operations in a semiconductor environment or manufacturing environment.

Candidate must be willing to: Work a compressed work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days in a row followed by a four-day week every other week. Work in a clean room environment wearing coveralls hoods booties safety glasses and gloves. Lift up to 25 lbs. 5 times/day, spend the majority of time (more than 90 percent less break time) in a clean room environment working on tool sets, walking 2-4 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$51,050.00-$72,070.00 (Hourly Role)

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
