Overview

The role of the Genshin Impact Community Specialist is to support and facilitate the smooth operation of the Genshin Impact Community Team’s efforts to deploy and analyse Player's Community engagement events, Forum/Player's Chatgroup managements along with monitoring player's feedback. The specialist will learn and get a feel of player's community management, along with understanding the pacing of a live-service game. 

The specialist will work closely with the globalization and community team and have the opportunity (where relevant and available) to contribute to the growth and success of HoYoverse's Gaming Community building.
 
What You Will Do: 

  • Maintain and expand the player community ecosystem, including managing player's and moderators relations. Plan and exceute topics/content/events strategy based on the core elements of each version. Platforms include but are not limited to: Reddit, Discord, and Facebook.
  • Act as the bridge between the game and its players, ensuring accurate transmission of product information, correct interpretation of user feedback, enhancing user engagement, and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the player-oriented areas.
  • Participate in identifying core Key Opinion Consumers (KOCs) within the player community, analyze player needs according to different modules, actively expand potential user groups, and improve the international user profile database.
  • Complete activity and special data reviews, including collecting accurate data from external partners, being responsible for data cleaning, and conducting analysis and interpretation of the data.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of games, familiar with in-game ecology and player psychology, and knowledge of the overseas gaming market.
  • Proficient in data analysis, capable of making reasonable judgments and interpretations based on data.
  • Strong learning ability, capable of quickly mastering new knowledge and skills.
  • Native proficiency in one of the following languages and understanding of the gaming culture ecosystem in the respective region: English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Russian, Korean, Turkish, Italian.
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit, highly responsible, proactive in following up on work tasks, and capable of working collaboratively with team members to complete tasks.
