What you will be doing
The Head of Catalyst is a key leadership role within our Foundational Data Group, responsible for overseeing our global Catalyst teams in close collaboration with other Heads of Catalyst.
This position plays a critical role in overseeing Catalyst's delivery of Foundational Data inputs and data capabilities that are key pillars of our modernisation, productization and data unification strategies. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with effective team leadership to ensure high-quality data delivery and process optimization.
The Head of Catalyst will manage and guide a Catalyst team, implementing initiatives focused on efficiency and data-driven solutions. This role requires an experienced leader with proven management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role will report to the VP of Foundational Data Strategy.
The role will contribute to Euromonitor's business goals, particularly to driving efficiency, improved data quality and profitable revenue growth through the following:
· Execute the integration of foundational data sets and help maximize their value in our portfolio of products and services for both consulting and syndicated solutions.
· Contribute to solution design by applying Catalyst's method expertise and data capabilities.
· Implement and refine processes to increase efficiency in delivering data-driven solutions.
· Support the quality of our delivery and service by utilizing established methods and FD inputs.
· Maintain and update documentation about our methods and approaches to ensure growing penetration in our product portfolio.
· Participate in improving our recruitment and training strategies to ensure the right skills and capabilities of team members.
· Contribute to enhancing Euromonitor's reputation with our clients as a trusted and valued partner.
· Support the implementation of new products alongside existing solutions.
· Apply best practices and deliver service excellence across all Catalyst work.
Key drivers -
· Support and implement the strategic vision for the Catalyst team in alignment with the broader Foundational Data Group strategy.
· Work with leadership to align team goals with departmental objectives.
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the Catalyst team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of projects and initiatives.
· Oversee team resources and timelines to achieve assigned goals.
· Lead, mentor, and develop team members within Catalyst.
· Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with other Heads of Catalyst and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive efforts across the organization.
· Represent the Catalyst team in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
· Implement innovative strategies and solutions that enhance the team's capabilities.
· Keep informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains effective and current.
· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of team initiatives.
· Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on team performance.
· Ensure successful delivery of Foundational Data for our modernization program.
· Oversee Catalyst delivery to consulting to support our data solutions and productisation efforts.
What you’ll need-
· 5+ years of team leadership experience in data or consulting
· Strong data management and analytics expertise
· Project management experience with complex data initiatives
· Understanding of data structures, modelling, and analytics tools
· Ability to translate business needs into data solutions
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Analytical problem-solving abilities
· Experience implementing process improvements
· Proven innovation in data-related challenges
