Jr. Designer (Jewellery)

Responsibilities

1. Work on new designs basis the seasonal brief by the Creative Director.

2. Prepare technical packs with diagrams and labelling for sampling and production. This includes technical flat sketches, illustrations and information packs.

3. Communicate new designs with technical details to production team and follow through with deep involvement in the sampling process.

4. Actively engage in all cross functional meetings concerned with design and follow up on outstanding issues pertaining to product development.

5. Keep tab of fittings and update tech packs and illustrations basis revisions.

6. Create digital 2D CADs for design presentations.

7. Develop and maintain a material library

8. Apply creative problem solving skills to jewellery construction challenges.

Qualifications

* Should be extremely organized in managing a dynamic work load

* Should be on top of deadlines with a good sense of prioritization.

* Should have great communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively.

* Should have the ability to design with business objectives and cost effectiveness.

* Should have a good sense of Love Letter’s customer, a finger on the pulse of the industry and cultural trends.

* Should be able to sketch by hand or using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.

* Knowledge of jewellery CAD softwares is a big plus (Matrix/Rhino/3Design)
