Logistics Financial Analyst Internship

Internship assignment:

The Freight Pay Audit team is responsible for auditing and timely payment of logistics invoices. The individual in this role will deliver financial analytic support for Tesla’s EMEA Logistics team. Your focus will include freight invoice validation supporting payment approval, financial reporting, logistics spend systems improvements, and data analytics. Most importantly, you will support us in day-to-day business and participate in additional project work. You’ll be part of the Supply Chain team, which is an international, experienced, fun, and vital team at Tesla. Working directly with the team collaboratively, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make changes and improvements to our processes.

• Assist the timely validation and payment of logistics invoices
• Work with different internal teams (Logistics, Procurement, Finance etc.) as well as external partners (e.g. carriers) to ensure proper auditing and payment of logistics invoices
• Collaborate with Procurement for transportation contracts
• Join forces with Finance for cost accruals, invoice payments and logistics information for the monthly and quarterly closing
• Support Accounts Payable with invoice payments
• Identify & execute opportunities to increase bandwidth through automation and streamlining of business processes
• Work in a highly dynamic and international environment
