Description

The Art Monetization team at Moon Active is opening a position for a 2D Artist to work on the popular game project Family Island. The main task is to create interesting and understandable visual solutions for game features so that the player can immediately grasp the idea just by looking at the picture. To achieve it, designers sketch and bring a range of ideas for features for the game, following the product req

Responsibilities

  • Develop visual solutions for complicated Features and illustrations based on existing concepts and 3D renders.
  • Prepare artwork for using in game interfaces and social media publications.
  • Carry out final post-processing of images in Photoshop to ensure visual beauty and narrative clarity.
  • Ensure that the final images are understandable and informative, without compromising the message clarity.
  • Prepare final materials for UI or publishing.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong artistic skills relevant for our flow:
  • Experience with lighting in scenes and excellent texturing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and construction.
  • Deep understanding how to work with text, like the specifics of its placement and design in game interfaces and social media.
  • Experience in creating and supporting a consistent visual language in big projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience preparing artwork for production without compromising visual quality.
  • Experience in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent English language skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with AI.
  • Knowledge of Spine.
  • Knowledge or Maya.
