Our client, a renowned children’s entertainment company, is looking for a skilled Freelance Packaging Production Designer to join their dynamic Branding team. This is an exciting remote opportunity to contribute to innovative packaging design concepts and brand extensions for some of the most recognized names in the industry.

About the Opportunity:
As a Freelance Packaging Production Designer, you’ll play a key role in developing creative packaging solutions and supporting the execution of new brand concepts. You’ll collaborate closely with the design, production, and marketing teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables while maintaining brand integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with experience in CPG packaging, particularly in the toy industry, to make an impact on some truly exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Execute packaging design concepts and brand extensions under the guidance of the Staff Designer, focusing 70% on core brands and 30% on new or other brands.
• Create designs using existing style guides or new concepts, collaborating in brainstorming sessions.
• Partner with the production team to ensure design integrity in final deliverables.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and concerns promptly to the Design Manager and Project Management.
• Seek creative direction from the Staff Designer as needed.
• Develop marketing materials, creative boards, and presentations for business development and trade shows.
• Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control, Product Development, and overseas agents during the package development and approval process.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in toy packaging design.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design (BFA) or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management, with a focus on meeting project budgets and deadlines.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
