Job Description

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team at Microsoft seeks a Partner Solution Sales resource focused on Data, Analytics & AI solutions. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans with partners, driving sales through partner-led and co-sell initiatives to meet Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) targets, and coaching partners on Microsoft Data & AI solutions. This role requires driving partner sales execution at scale, leveraging solution expertise and business acumen to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals. Success involves mastering the Microsoft Customer Execution Model and creating a well-designed Data & AI plan. The position involves working with a portfolio of assigned partners in Southeast Europe, forecasting revenue, and supporting partners in closing deals, removing blockers, and managing competition.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience in IT sales, consulting, or partner channel sales
  • Drive partner sales execution and achieve revenue targets
  • Expertise in Data & AI solutions and Microsoft Customer Execution Model
  • Develop and execute sales plans for Data & AI focused on Azure
Good to have:
  • Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals or Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals certifications

Overview

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

As a Partner Solution Sales resource, your responsibilities will be to develop and execute a Partner Solution Sales and Territory plan with partners, focused on Data, Analytics & AI solutions. You will be expected to drive sales through both partner-led and co-sell initiatives to achieve quarterly Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) targets.This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, hone your selling skills, and become a territory leader for one of the fastest growing solution area.

 

As a Leader of Solution Area Sales, your role involves driving your partner's sales execution at a large scale. Your deep solution area expertise and business acumen will be leveraged to drive revenue impact month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter. Success in your role will be achieved through skilling in Data & AI and executing across the Microsoft Customer Execution Model. You will be responsible for creating and executing a well-designed Data&AI focused plan. Additionally, you will actively seek to enhance your career path through recommended and additional training.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Informatics), Business/Economics (Sales), or related field AND solid experience in information technology (IT)-related industry sales, consulting, the partner channel sales and professional business development experience
o OR equivalent experience

 

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

 

  • Certifications: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals or Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
  • Solid consultative or solutions selling experience



Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for owning the Azure Data & AI pipeline with selected global and regional partners for assigned territory and leveraging investments to drive pipeline velocity in Small & Mid-market customer segment.
  • You will be accountable for the Azure Data & AI revenue forecast for your portfolio of assigned partners within the defined territory from selected Southeast Europe countries.
  • You will be expected to coach the value of the Microsoft Data &AI solution plays to your aligned partners and secure their commitment for further solution sales practice acceleration to increase their share of wallet.
  • You will be expected to drive inbound referral sharing for contribution to the Qualified Pipe and Top of Funnel.
  • You will drive the utilization of investments and incentives to move opportunities through the sales cycle to accelerate migration to Microsoft Azure.
  • You will be expected to support the partner in driving top key deals to deliver revenue impact to the business, assisting in removing commercial blockers and coaching on compete challenges.
