Job Description

The Manager, Ads Sales Operations, APAC at Netflix will drive revenue acceleration initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales Tooling, Finance, HR, etc.) on global projects. This role demands end-to-end ownership of critical regional projects, building business cases for new initiatives, and proactively identifying revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include supporting sales planning (budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation), defining sales inputs and forecasts, conducting business reviews, and providing actionable insights from data analysis. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of the APAC advertising landscape.

The core Advertising team is charged with building a new, best-in-class ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners and to drive advertising revenue. 

In this role, you will:
 

Drive Revenue Acceleration Initiatives

  • Work with cross-functional partners in Sales Tooling, Finance, HR, Inventory, and Business Operations to deliver global projects that will drive revenue in the region 

  • Represent regional needs of APAC with global teams and stakeholders 

  • End-to-end ownership of critical regional projects and execution of global projects

  • Build business cases for initiatives such as launching new buying mechanisms, partnerships, process changes etc 

  • Proactively surface new business opportunities and insights that unlock revenue potential
     

Planning & Strategy 

  • Act as a thought partner to Country Sales Leaders and help them identify and refine business priorities 

  • Support key planning processes such as annual budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, portfolio management

  • Design regional OKRs and cascade OKRs to country and team levels

Analytics and Insights

  • Provide actionable insights based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance and follow through for execution with sales and cross-functional teams

  • Define, build & maintain the sales inputs, forecasts, and sales pipeline for the APAC advertising business

  • Lead discussions on business performance & state of business with expertise and full ownership

  • Conduct regional pipeline and business reviews on a regular basis

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a thought partner to Country Sales Leaders and cross-functional partners 

  • Drive change management on new processes and initiatives by understanding end-user needs, handling objections, troubleshooting, and driving improvements

  • Collaborate with the sales team and cross-functional teams to understand their strategy and help develop plans for execution
     

About you:

  • Extensive years of experience in advertising/ advertising-related fields; and/or experience working in Sales Operations

  • Hand-on analytical ability including the ability to independently retrieve, analyze, and visualize data to deliver actionable insights to sales management

  • Proven ability to collaborate with Sales Managers, Country/Channel Sales Leaders,  Account Management, and Partner Management Team Leaders

  • Familiarity with agency, client-direct, and partner-led sales models. 

  • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage and lead regional projects to drive ads revenue in APAC

  • Strong collaborator who embraces differing perspectives and experiences to make better decisions

  • Proven understanding of the advertising landscape in APAC, including media channels and methods of buying

  • Ability to understand both detailed aspects and the bigger picture of Sales Operations

  • Demonstrated track record of creativity, innovation, and implementing better approaches

  • Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects efficiently
