This Product Manager, Deal Management role at Google requires 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with 2 years of experience launching technical products. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise software, specifically CPQ, contract lifecycle management, and subscription management within a cloud platform. Responsibilities include understanding cloud ecosystem markets, launching new products and features, and collaborating with various teams (engineering, marketing, legal, UX) on cutting-edge technologies. The role involves developing solutions across regions and product areas, ensuring Google Cloud solutions enable rapid growth and impact globally. This position focuses on applications and platforms driving Google Cloud's marketing, business, partner, support, and finance functions.
Must have:
  • 5+ years product management experience
  • 2 years experience launching technical products
  • Enterprise software experience (CPQ, CLM, Subscription Management)
  • Cloud platform solution selling experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, big data, security, AI/ML
  • Experience managing technical and design direction
  • Knowledge of Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Business, Customer Support, Finance, Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in product management building enterprise software products specifically in Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management, Subscription Management and Cloud platform solution selling.
  • Experience in building enterprise software products.
  • Experience in one or more of the following cloud infrastructure,
    Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or Artificial Intelligence(AI)/Machine Learning(ML).
  • Experience in managing technical and design direction.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI), Business, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
