Summary

The Responsible Gaming Specialist plays a crucial role in IGT Indiana's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, focusing on the nine-element Responsible Gaming Program. Responsibilities include project managing all responsible gaming tactics, developing and maintaining certifications (WLA framework), managing KPIs, creating and executing communication calendars (internal & external), developing and delivering stakeholder training, and contributing to CSR reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience in responsible gaming or related fields, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Overview

 

The Player Health Specialist is a member of the Hoosier Lottery’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which is comprised of three pillars: Responsible Gaming, Community and Employee Engagement, and Responsible Business Practices. Under the Director of CSR and Compliance, the Player Health Specialist helps to develop, support and execute the nine-element Responsible Gaming Program. The Player Health Specialist is responsible for planning, writing, and maintaining responsible gaming certifications, as well as collecting and organizing a large volume of supporting documentation. At times, this individual will act as a subject matter expert and resource on responsible gaming for the organization and support training and player health activities. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders personally and in writing.

Responsibilities

 

 

•    Owns, executes, and project manages all tactics and commitments in relation to the responsible gaming program with a focus on continuous improvement. 
•    Plans, organizes and helps to write technical certifications, including instrumental involvement in maintaining the organization’s highest level of certification in the World Lottery Association’s responsible gaming framework.
•    Maintains responsible gaming Key Performance Indicators and other metrics related to the nine-program elements. 
•    Assists in the development of and execute the annual responsible gaming communications calendar that outlines the internal employee calendar as well as external player messaging and campaigns under the Positive Play sub-brand.
•    Develops and executes stakeholder training with various internal employee groups as well as with our retailer sales team. Additionally, this role maintains strategic training plans and timelines.
•    Develops and executes stakeholder communications, including the CSR Annual Report and stakeholder newsletters and updates.
•    With the Director, plans for and helps execute stakeholder meetings typically taking place on a quarterly or bi-annual basis.
•    Contributes responsible gaming content to the monthly employee newsletter.
•    Other job duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

 

•    Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Related fields are public health and environmental health, social services, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability.
•    5 or more years of program/project management experience.
•    Prefer experience in administration of public health and education, addiction prevention, treatment or related fields, responsible gaming, or assessing social impacts from products and operations
•    Applied research or market research experience 
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially on a variety of topics and audiences
•    Proficiency in MS Office Suite
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Business insight and commercial awareness
•    Adaptability and empathy
•    Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision
•    Integrity and open-mindedness

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
