This Sales Analyst role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources (CRM, lead generation platforms, scraped databases) to assess business development performance. Responsibilities include producing regular KPI reports, identifying patterns in outreach success, using database scraping tools to gather leads, ensuring data accuracy in the CRM, collaborating with sales teams, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement, and tracking lead generation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with database scraping and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and excellent communication skills. They will work closely with the Head of Business to establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring data integrity and contributing to data presentations for client meetings and internal reviews. The role requires proficiency in data analysis, preferably within a sales or business development context.

Description

We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Sales Analyst to join our Business Development team. This role will be pivotal in providing actionable insights, tracking key performance metrics, scraping databases for valuable leads, and optimizing sales outreach efforts. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business development activities, improving lead generation strategies, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the team. If you have a passion for numbers and the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations, this role is for you.

As a Sales Analyst you will:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (CRM, lead
  • generation platforms, scraped databases, etc.) to assess the
  • performance of business development activities.
  • Produce regular reports on KPIs, sales pipeline status, and outreach
  • success rates to help the team understand trends and make
  • informed decisions.
  • Identify patterns in outreach success, client engagement, and lead
  • conversion, providing insights to optimize strategies.
  • Use database scraping tools and techniques to gather new lead
  • information and enrich existing databases.
  • Continuously identify and source new business opportunities through
  • external databases and other online resources.
  • Ensure that the collected data from database scraping is accurate,
  • up-to-date, and integrated into the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development team to evaluate
  • the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve lead quality,
  • increase meeting bookings, and enhance conversion rates.
  • Track and report on the performance of new lead generation
  • initiatives and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Head of Business to establish, refine, and
  • monitor KPIs for the Business Development team.
  • Ensure that all KPIs are accurately tracked and reported, allowing
  • the team to consistently meet targets and business goals.
  • Oversee the accuracy and cleanliness of the CRM database (e.g.,
  • HubSpot or Salesforce), ensuring that all client interactions, lead
  • information, and sales activities are properly recorded.
  • Lead efforts to clean up and maintain the CRM database, ensuring
  • data integrity for better performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify new market opportunities based
  • on data insights and trends.
  • Provide analytical support for business development strategies and
  • decision-making processes.
  • Assist in preparing data presentations and reports for client meetings
  • and internal reviews.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis, preferably
  • within a sales or business development context.
  • Experience with database scraping tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for data
  • tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power
  • BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into
  • actionable insights and clear recommendations.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently
  • and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a
  • related field is preferred
  • Good English skilss
