Job Description

As a Senior 3D Creature Artist, you will sculpt and model high-resolution creatures with a focus on anatomy and expression using ZBrush. You will create game-ready models, texture assets using PBR workflows in Substance Painter, and collaborate with artists to bring designs to life while considering gameplay needs. You will also implement and test assets in game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, adjusting and iterating based on feedback. You will also occasionally create hard-surface elements or clothing for creatures. You will be part of a creative and supportive team. Artistic freedom is encouraged.

Must have:

Sculpting and modeling high-resolution creatures in ZBrush.
Creating clean game-ready models through retopology and UV unwrapping.
Texturing assets using PBR workflow in Substance Painter.
Implementing and testing assets in game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Sculpting and modeling high-resolution creatures in ZBrush, with a strong focus on anatomy, form, and expression.
Creating clean game-ready models through retopology and UV unwrapping.
Texturing assets using PBR workflow in Substance Painter, maintaining visual consistency and material realism.
Collaborating with concept artists and art directors to bring creature designs to life while keeping artistic direction and gameplay needs in mind.
Implementing and testing assets in game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, ensuring optimal performance and visual fidelity.
Adjusting and iterating based on feedback, both artistic and technical, throughout the production pipeline.
Occasionally creating hard-surface elements or clothing for your creatures if the design requires it.
You’ll be part of a creative and supportive team, where artistic freedom is encouraged, but production quality and deadlines remain key.
