Job Description

As a Tech Lead, Software Engineering at Google, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software. You will collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information, and manage team priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will also research, conceive, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google's product offering. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for pushing technology forward.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
8 years of experience in software development
Experience with data structures/algorithms
5 years of experience testing and launching software products
3 years of experience with software design and architecture

Good to have:

4 years of experience in a technical leadership role
2 years of experience managing teams of software engineers
Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
Experience designing and implementing APIs used by other developers
Experience designing and implementing search ranking systems
Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning (ML) systems

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

4 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
2 years of experience managing teams of software engineers.
Experience designing and implementing any of the following: large-scale distributed systems, APIs used by other developers, search ranking systems, Machine Learning (ML) systems.
