Senior Back-end Engineer - Wizz
Job Summary
Job Description
Voodoo is seeking an ambitious Senior Backend Engineer to join their team working on Wizz, a social app for teens with over 3 million monthly active users. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable and available backends for the app. You will also contribute to shaping the product, best practices on reliability and availability, and the overall back-end infrastructure. This role will involve collaboration with a high-performing team of 20 professionals, fostering a spirit of goodwill and creativity.
Must have:
- Experience with Node.js, Fastify, Socket.io, Firebase
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis databases
- Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Bucket, S3, CloudFront
- Familiarity with Github Actions, AWS CLI, Gcloud CLI, Docker, microservice architecture
Good to have:
- Experience with XCode, GitHub, Cocoapods
