Job Description

The Senior Business Controller will be a strategic and hands-on PF&A partner and Business partner, taking a central role in supporting business performance across multiple entities. This role involves shaping and maturing the financial infrastructure for a fast-growing group. The candidate will collaborate with finance leadership, business unit heads, and shared services teams to ensure data-driven decision-making, financial control, and scalable processes. Responsibilities include business partnering, development of group-level financial infrastructure, and budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and the ability to build trust.
Must have:
  • Act as a lead finance partner to multiple business areas.
  • Drive ownership of financial KPIs across business leaders.
  • Support investment cases and business reviews.
  • Co-lead the design of scalable reporting tools.
  • Define and drive adoption of financial standards.
  • Own the rolling forecast process across entities.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic goals and financial plans.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in finance roles.
  • Experience in multi-entity environments.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with financial planning systems and Power BI.
  • Experience with shared services, ERP systems, and forecasting tools.
  • Experience supporting M&A activities.

About the role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Business ControllerPF&A partner, Business partner to take a central role in supporting business performance across multiple entities, while also helping shape and mature the financial infrastructure for a fast-growing group. You will work closely with the group finance leadership, business unit heads, and shared services teams to ensure data-driven decision-making, financial control, and scalable processes. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with the ability to build cross-functional trust and steer change in a dynamic, decentralized environment.


Key responsibilities

Business Partnering Across Entities

  • Act as a lead finance partner to multiple business areas, each with
    different products, markets, and maturity levels
  • Drive ownership and understanding of financial KPIs across business
    leaders and teams
  • Support investment cases, business reviews, and ad hoc decision
    support with financial insight
  • Ensure transparency between operational drivers and financial results

Participate in development of Group-Level Financial Infrastructure

  • Co-lead the design and implementation of scalable reporting tools,
    planning models, and cost structures
  • Define and drive adoption of common financial standards (e.g. fixed
    cost templates, budget structures, shared cost allocations)
  • Maintain and evolve the group’s internal financial reporting package
    and dashboards (via e.g. Power BI or similar)
  • Act as finance lead for financial process automation initiatives across
    group companies

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

  • Own the rolling forecast process across entities
  • Ensure alignment between long-term strategic goals and financial
    plans
  • Build dynamic scenario, sensitivity models and business cases to
    support executive decisions

Desirable skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar
  • 6+ years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, or finance business partnering roles
  • Strong background in working across multi-entity, multi-product environments (group level experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion
  • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with financial planning systems and Power BI (or equivalent BI/reporting tools) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with shared services, ERP systems and forecasting tools
  • Business-minded, curious, and comfortable navigating both detail and strategic perspective 
  • Experience supporting or analyzing M&A activities, investment cases, or post-deal integrations is a strong plus.
  • Ability to contribute to building and evolving scalable financial infrastructure in a growth environment.
