As a Senior Buyer, you will develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring market trends, and participating in projects. This role requires a proactive approach to cost optimization and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. The Senior Buyer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and staying abreast of relevant regulations.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure reliable sources of supply.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement processes and best practices.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of supplier performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product launches, cost reduction initiatives, and other strategic projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities, including supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement activities and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies, including supplier identification, evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
