Job Description

As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies to reduce costs while upholding quality standards. You'll be tasked with identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and building relationships to secure dependable supply sources. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and providing guidance on processes and best practices will also be a key aspect of the role. Monitoring market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to find opportunities for cost savings and process improvements is crucial. You'll manage the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and conducting supplier performance reviews to maintain high standards. Participation in cross-functional teams to support new product launches and cost reduction initiatives, along with maintaining accurate procurement records, will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you'll need to stay informed about relevant regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of supplier performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product launches, cost reduction initiatives, and other strategic projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities, including supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement activities and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
