Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Omind Technologies, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, managing databases, and leveraging AWS technologies to enhance our infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems. If you are AWS certified and have a strong background in DevOps practices, this position offers a platform to make a significant impact on our technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery of software applications.
• Database Administration: Administer and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
• AWS Infrastructure: Leverage AWS services and technologies to build, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• AWS Certification: Maintain AWS certifications and stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and innovations.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues in our infrastructure.
• Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices within the DevOps process.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of our AWS infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps roles.
• CI/CD: Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
• Database: Experience in database administration, optimization, and management.
• AWS: Strong expertise in AWS services, with AWS certifications preferred.
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).
• Security: Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them in a  DevOps context.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
