Job Description
As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers. Responsibilities include making the existing website accessible for people with disabilities, proposing improvements, actively participating in team discussions and decision-making, driving initiatives, and working closely with a team of Senior Engineers, Product Manager, and Engineering Manager. The role requires strong HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js skills, along with significant TypeScript/JavaScript experience. A proactive mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Job Details
Our customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Work on making the existing website accessible for people with disabilities;
- Propose improvements, be actively involved in team discussions and decision-making, and drive initiatives;
- Work closely with a team of Senior Engineers, Product Manager and Engineering Manager;
Requirements:
- Foundational understanding of the Web: strong HTML, and CSS skills;
- Experience with React / Next.js;
- Accessibility mindset (nice to have);
- More than 6 years of TypeScript / JavaScript experience;
- Basic BE knowledge (nice to have);
- Using browser dev tools is second nature;
- Upper-Intermediate English level;
- Excellent and proactive communication skills;
- High level of self-management, proactive mindset, and focus on getting things done.
