About the role

Fortis Games is hiring for a Senior Manager, IT Programs to lead, manage, and execute cross-functional strategic business projects. This role will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT and InfoSec initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Systems and InfoSec, You will build and lead a team responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and operational efficiency. Your expertise in project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation will be critical in managing complex IT and InfoSec projects, from inception to completion. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our rapid growth by implementing best practices, fostering collaboration across departments, and delivering high-impact solutions that reinforce our commitment to innovation and security.

What you will do

  • Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT support and security initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term company objectives and priorities.
  • Manage the growing IT Project Management team, ensuring effective coordination, resource allocation, and performance tracking to meet project deliverables and business objectives
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success and develop innovative mitigation strategies. Drive and engage in cross-functional communication to address challenges and minimize disruptions.
  • Define project charters, objectives, scope, roles, responsibilities, and schedules.
  • Track project progress through project management software such as Click Up, JIRA, Confluence, and Google suite.
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams through consistent written and verbal communication to execute projects on time and with high quality.
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional projects concurrently and maintain project-level documentation

What you will need to be successful

  • Extensive program management experience delivering technical projects on a global scale, with a focus on leading teams and setting long-term goals
  • Proven leadership of IT project managers, preferably in a fast-paced technical environment
  • A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity principles, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and maintaining effective communication within distributed global teams.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners and vendors to achieve goals on aggressive timelines.
  • Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, time zones, and budgets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity
