Project description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing robust web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality solutions, implement complex features, and ensure overall code quality and performance. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong understanding of PHP and web development best practices.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable, high-performance web applications.
Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following industry best practices.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to implement innovative solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across production and non-production environments.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold coding standards.
Ensure application security, data protection, and efficient database usage.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them as appropriate.
Skills
Must have
5+ years of experience in PHP development, with a solid grasp of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
Understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Nice to have
Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Microservices architecture and scalable web applications.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
