About the Role

As a Senior AI Product Manager you’ll be working with a team of designers, engineers, and analysts focused on building an exciting new 0-1 bet to fundamentally transform GlossGenius as a company. You’ll have complete ownership of this initiative and direct support and buy-in from the company’s leadership team. Our ideal candidate is first, a seasoned product leader who understands how to build great, customer centric products that drive revenue, and second, personally interested in everything going on in the AI universe right now.  You think of AI as a tool in their toolbox, but not the only tool and understand where AI makes sense to solve real problems and where it does not. 

You will report to our Head of Growth Product and you must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).

What You’ll Do

• Define the product vision and strategy for one of the company’s most ambitious bets, setting priorities for key features and initiatives
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, working with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless alignment and execution
• Utilize data to inform decisions, championing both qualitative and quantitative insights to iterate quickly and deliver products that resonate with our users
• Move fast and build. Rapidly test, iterate, and ship high-quality features that drive real outcomes for users and the business.
• Deeply understand the market, competition, and customer pain points, ensuring GlossGenius stays ahead with innovative, best-in-class experiences.

What We’re Looking For 

• 5+ years of experience in product-related roles
• Proven experience in a product-centric environment driving adoption across large product initiatives
• Have worked or want to work on an AI initiative: you’re conversant, interested in, using AI in your day-to-day and following along the latest trend in the space
• A data-driven approach to product management, comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decision-making
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization and align teams around a shared vision
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where innovative thinking is encouraged
• Comfort being scrappy and pushing the org to think scrappily to move quickly and prove/disprove hypotheses
• Ability to take big high risk high reward swings; we’re operating the team like a mini startup within a startup
• Natural ability to think in terms of business and revenue impact when prioritizing

The starting base salary for this role in New York is between $170,000-$210,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
