Job Description
This Category Manager, Data Centers role in Bangkok, Thailand requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of multi-disciplined procurement experience. Responsibilities include developing and executing category strategies aligned with organizational objectives, building supplier relationships, executing sourcing strategies, analyzing spending patterns, and generating reports to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical infrastructure procurement and leveraging technology for enhanced practices. The role involves working with commercial and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 7+ years procurement experience
- Strong communication (English & Thai)
- Strategic sourcing & execution
- Data analysis & reporting
- Supplier relationship management
Good to have:
- Critical infrastructure procurement experience
- Experience with KPIs and performance metrics
- Proficient in using technology and analytical tools
- Excellent project management skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Business, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in multi-disciplined procurement roles, leading strategy development, execution and sourcing or a related function.
- Ability to communicate in English and Thai to interact with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with commercial, contracting and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with legal and company standards within the category.
- Experience in procurement in the critical infrastructure environment.
- Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators and metrics to measure category performance.
- Experience in leveraging technology and analytical tools to enhance practices and drive data-driven decision-making along with the ability to analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support performance evaluation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects or initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes, implementing new strategies.

- Support development and execution of category strategies aligned with organizational objectives for assigned indirect spend categories.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support execution of sourcing strategies, Request For (X) processes, discussions, and supplier evaluations within designated categories.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and identify value opportunities within the category.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation within the category.
