Job Description

Senior QA Automation Engineer needed for a Solution R&D team developing a product to optimize power grid equipment repair and maintenance. The role involves requirements analysis, participation in grooming processes, testing web applications (UI and backend), data testing, performance and load measurements, API and integration testing, UI E2E auto-tests, defect reporting, and close collaboration with various teams. The team is international (35+ people).

Must have:

5+ years web application testing
1+ year Jira/Confluence experience
Strong understanding of development and testing processes
Postman, Kubernetes/Lens, Jenkins
Java, Spring, Rest Assured, Postgres, SQL
Intermediate English
Analytical thinking
Good communication skills
Selenium WebDriver (TestNG/JUnit) or Selenide

Good to have:

Performance testing (stress/load)
Angular application testing
Gherkin/Cucumber
Security (OAuth2), NoSQL, AWS, Microservices, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Timescale DB, Atlassian XRay API, Docker

Project description

As a part of Solution R&D team we are developing a product to help asset owner optimize the repair and maintenance of their power grid equipment by minimizing the probability of failure, financial risk and allowing optimal use of their CAPEX/OPEX.
The team is made up of more than 35 people who work in different countries.

Responsibilities

Requirements analysis (identify and report gaps between requirements and the implementation plans)

Actively participate in requirements grooming process (analysis and estimation) through day-to-day collaboration with the project team

Testing of web application

UI and back-end testing using different approaches

Data testing, performance and load measurements

Writing API tests

Writing Integration tests

Writing UI E2E auto-tests

Defects reporting and tracking

Close cooperation with QA/DEV/PO/UIUX Designer

Skills

Must have

At least 5 years in web applications testing

At least 1 year experience in Jira, Confluence

Strong understanding of development and testing processes

Postman, Kuernetes/Lens, Jenkins

Java, Spring, Rest Assured, Postgres, SQL

English spoken Intermediate level or higher

Analytical thinking

Good communication skills

Selenium WebDriver(TestNG or Junit) or Selenide

Nice to have

Performance testing experience, stress and load testing experience

Angular based applications testing

Gherkin/Cucumber

Security (OAuth2), NoSQL, Cloud (AWS), microservices, Messaging (Kafka), Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Timescale DB, Atlassian XRay API, Docker

Experience with setup Jenkins pipeline
