Job Description

As a SOC Analyst at Bluevine, you will monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and EDR tools to identify and respond to suspicious activities. Your responsibilities include initial triage, correlation, and analysis of logs from various sources. Collaboration with IT, DevOps, and security teams to contain and remediate threats will be crucial. You will also document incidents, findings, and response actions clearly and participate in cybersecurity awareness efforts. This hybrid role requires a proactive and security-first mindset.
Must have:
  • 2–3 years of cybersecurity operations experience.
  • Familiarity with SIEM and EDR tools.
  • Ability to write clear documentation and communicate findings.
Good to have:
  • Experience with cloud security monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  • Scripting knowledge for automation and investigation.

This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

What You'll Do:
● Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and EDR tools to detect suspicious or malicious
activity.
● Perform initial triage, correlation, and analysis of logs from various sources
● Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to contain and remediate threats.
● Document incidents, findings, and response actions clearly and consistently.
● Participate in cybersecurity awareness efforts across the site, including training sessions,

What We Look For:
● 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in a SOC environment
● Familiarity with SIEM and EDR tools
● Ability to write clear documentation and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-
technical audiences
● High level of curiosity, self-learning, and teamwork, with a proactive and security-first mindset

Bonus points if you also have:
● Experience with cloud security monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Security Center, AWS GuardDuty)
● Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards

Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell or Python) for automation and investigation purposes
● Strong task prioritization skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
