Summary

As a Software Engineer, Android Automotive at Google, you'll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for vehicle systems. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Rust and Java/Kotlin experience (or 1 year with advanced degree)
  • 2 years experience with data structures/algorithms
  • Embedded/automotive systems experience in C/C++
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust software for vehicle systems
Good to have:
  • Master's/PhD in CS or related field
  • Automotive middleware experience (AUTOSAR, SOME/IP)
  • Experience with accessible technologies
  • Automotive OEM experience
  • Agile development experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Rust and Java/Kotlin, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience in embedded/automotive systems development in C or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • Experience with automotive middleware (e.g., AUTOSAR, SOME/IP).
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as a software engineer.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies.

  • Debug, test, and maintain software to ensure smooth operation and exceptional user experiences.
