Summary

As a PCB Supplier Quality Engineer, you will join the team responsible for setting and managing the supplier quality and reliability standards for our PCB Infrastructure across Google. Be responsible for the quality and reliability of PCB deliverables throughout the lifecycle. Drive cross-functional activities in the supply chain for overall technical operational readiness in all NPI phases leading into mass production. Conduct quality and manufacturing process audits at suppliers, including on-site management for critical suppliers to ensure high-quality products are built and delivered. Work cross-functionally to define and ensure processes are in place to provide the data required to manage quality and reliability. Interface with suppliers on a regular basis to share parts per million feedback from the CM/Field and drive RMA, CAR, RCCA, and FA. Establish quality programs and process controls for early detection of issues and ensure the highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related PCB field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in the PCB technology and manufacturing process.
  • Experience in statistical product quality control, process capability, reliability, failure analysis, and process improvement.
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or PCB related field.
  • American Society for Quality certification (CQE, CQM, CRE, or CQA).
  • 10 years of experience in Quality/Reliability and PCB technology.
  • Understanding of PCB manufacturing and test processes.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
