Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. You'll manage the lifecycle of projects for Google's AI Studio and Gemini API, initiating strategic pivots to meet evolving business needs. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, assessing risks, prioritizing features, resolving cross-functional challenges, developing recommendations, and designing scalable operational processes. You'll need excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. The role requires experience driving AI/ML programs and building applications, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience driving AI/ML programs and building applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) principles and their distinctions from traditional software development.
  • Ability to execute, prioritize, and influence multiple complex, rapidly changing programs involving diverse teams.
  • Ability to be organized and adept at designing and implementing efficient processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, even without direct authority.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
