As a Technical Program Manager at Google's Fleet Decision Intelligence team, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include developing data solutions to empower the supply chain team, building dashboards, conducting analytics, developing predictive models, and automating anomaly detection. You'll communicate insights to stakeholders, influence product improvements, and drive implementation of data-driven recommendations. Managing multiple projects concurrently and adapting to changing priorities are key aspects of this role. A strong background in data analysis, project management, and communication is essential.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • Experience with data analysis (SQL, Python/R)
  • Cross-functional project management
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with Machine Learning
  • Supply Chain Management or Data Center Technology familiarity
  • Experience with monitoring and analysis tools at scale

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL), Python or R.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with statistics and Machine Learning such as Clustering, Supervised Learning.
  • Experience with monitoring and analysis tools, especially data at scale.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management or Data Center Technology.
  • Demonstrable organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide software development and project management, coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Develop data solutions that empower the supply chain team to make informed decisions and optimize performance. This includes building dashboards, conducting descriptive and diagnostic analytics, developing predictive models, and automating anomaly detection.
  • Communicate insights to stakeholders, influence product and process improvements, and drive implementation of data-driven recommendations.
  • Plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
