Job Description

As a Security Consultant, you will provide excellent technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will provide secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will provide prescriptive guidance ensuring customers receive the best of what GCP offers and ensure they have the experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications on GCP. You will also work with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive Google Cloud products and features. Responsibilities include working with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud security architectures; working with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package approaches and share lessons learned; and interacting with Business, Partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, and timelines for successful client outcomes. Approximately 30% travel is required for client engagements.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience
8+ years in technical troubleshooting and partner/customer management
Security architecture or engineering experience
Fluent French communication
Cloud security expertise (preferred)

Good to have:

Experience implementing compliance frameworks in cloud environments
Google Cloud security experience
Understanding of network protocols, web application security, authentication, cryptography, security monitoring, incident response, and security tool development
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Experience in security architecture or security engineering.
Ability to communicate in French fluently to communicate in this customer-facing business role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in Cloud Security delivered within the context of customer-facing roles.
Experience implementing compliance frameworks and security requirements in a cloud environment.
Experience securing Google Cloud.
Experience understanding attacks and mitigation methods, in two or more of the following: network protocols and secure network design; web application security, security assessments and penetration testing, authentication and access control, applied cryptography and security protocols, security monitoring and intrusion detection, Incident response and forensics, development of security tools, automation or frameworks.
Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Work with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud security architectures, serving as a cloud security and compliance subject matter expert and a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
Work with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package approaches and to share lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
Interact with Business, Partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
Travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements as needed.
