This role involves leading and mentoring a team of SharePoint developers, architecting and designing scalable, secure, and performant SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, and Azure technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, actively participating in development and coding, conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SharePoint development, Azure integration (Front Door, Azure Functions, App/Web Services, SQL Databases), Power Platform, and Power BI. Experience with code quality tools (SonarQube), automated testing, and CI/CD is essential. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial.

Project description

Development of new solutions based on W360 Content & Portals roadmap OR requests received from Business teams

Responsibilities

Technical leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the successful delivery of SharePoint solutions.

Solution architecture: Architect and design SharePoint solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and usability aspects, while aligning with business requirements and best practices.

Technical expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and related technologies.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.

Development and coding: Actively participate in the development process, coding complex features, and providing hands-on technical expertise when needed.

Code reviews and quality assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure

adherence to coding standards, and implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions.

Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and technical guidelines, to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.

Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously stay updated with the latest SharePoint and related technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

Skills

Must have

Proven experience as a Technical Team Lead or Solution Architect in SharePoint development and solutions.

Strong technical expertise in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and related technologies. Also including Azure technologies (components like Front door, Azure Function, App or Web Services, SQL Databases, etc), Power Platform and PowerBI as ways to extend SharePoint capabilities to deliver on business requirements

Experience in architecting and designing SharePoint solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and usability aspects.

Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube

Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tools

Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of developers to achieve project goals.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Azure DevOps, is a plus.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
