We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) The QA role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Assists with various tasks throughout the development lifecycle of a project.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Develop, implement, and assure automation using various test automation tools & frameworks.
• Conduct project requirement analysis, Support in high level test strategy creation, attend JAD & Agile ceremonies and coordinate with QA Lead and Project stakeholders to conduct Functional/ Integration / Project Regression test and qualify the code for enhancements /projects and programs
• Apply various QA techniques, best practices , tools , framework and solutions to test applications developed using various technologies
• Responsible for all phases of testing for assigned projects / programs and adherence to SS&C QA CoE processes and audit requirements
• Create defects clearly and track them to closure and retest the defects and surround test cases as appropriately required
• Periodically report the status of test planning, test execution and defects via daily /weekly status reporting to QA Lead and Project Manager as appropriate and required

What You Will Bring:

• 6+ years of working experience in automation projects and technical activities.
• Hand on experience on automation tools like, Selenium, Cucumber, API Testing tools (SOAP UI/Postman/Newman/Swagger, etc.)
• Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Java, Java/VB Script, Python etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience is using Test Management tools like JIRA, XRay, Service Now, HP ALM, etc.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Jenkins/Gitlab, Excel macros, Shell Scripting etc.
• Working knowledge of QA methodologies ( Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Agile , BDD)
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• ADA compliance experience
• Experience with performance and/or security testing and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus
• Development experience with Spring Boot and/or Angular frameworks is a plus
