Summary

Dynamis seeks an Inspector General Training Course (IGTC) and Readiness Instructor to teach Wing/Delta and Command-level courses at Kirtland AFB, NM, or as a mobile instructor. Responsibilities include instructing REAPER and IGTC courses, updating instructional materials, managing training logistics, developing after-action reports, and providing subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in IG, EM, or Wing Inspection/Exercise Evaluation Teams, plus 2 years of instructional experience. They'll be responsible for delivering training based on the Readiness Exercise Advanced Planning, Execution, and Reporting (REAPER) Course and IGTC, ensuring Air and Space Force personnel are proficient in designing, executing, and evaluating readiness exercises.
Must have:
  • 2 years IG/EM/Wing Inspection experience
  • 2 years instructional experience
  • US Citizen, Secret Clearance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Instruct REAPER & IGTC courses
Good to have:
  • Air Force Ops Planning knowledge
  • DAF IG experience
  • HSEEP, NIMS/ICS certifications
  • Instructor certification

Dynamis is seeking a Inspector General Training Course (IGTC) and Readiness Instructor (Wing and Command) to join the team.

The Inspection Agency (AFIA) of the Department of the Air Force is at the forefront of a Service effort to solidify a dependable process to effectively design, execute, and evaluate an Air and Space Force unit readiness exercise with enough rigor that exercise results can validate unit readiness reporting in authoritative reporting databases (i.e. Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS).  To accomplish this mission, AFIA supports the instruction of Air and Space Force Command  (MAJCOM/FLDCOM) and Unit (WG/Delta) Inspector General personnel in designing, executing and evaluating readiness exercises through the Readiness Exercise Advanced Planning, Execution, and Reporting (REAPER) Course and Inspector General Training Courses (IGTC). 


The REAPER course was developed utilizing CJCSM 3500.03E Joint Training Manual for the Armed Forces, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), Air Force Inspector General (IG) guidance (primarily, AFI 90-201), Air Force Operations Planning and Execution policy, and DoD and Air Force emergency management (EM) guidance. Students depart REAPER with an understanding of how DAF units generate to support deployable missions and the skills to design, plan, execute and report inspector general assessments of unit performance in readiness-based exercise events. 


IGTC hybrid course was developed through examination of key work processes involved in Inspector General operational and strategic risk assessments, with focus on compliance and mission impact as it pertains to readiness and providing student-centered and instructor facilitated inspection training and risk analysis as an evolution of the existing DAF developed program. Through a combination of computer-based academic training and experiential activities, Inspectors General depart the course with risk-based critical thinking mindset and a better understanding of how to implement policy guidance in accordance with their commanders intent. 

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct Wing/Delta and Command Level REAPER and IGTC courses, in residence at Kirtland AFB, NM or as part of a mobile training team
  • Assist in the update of instructional materials as directed by AFIA or in response to student feedback 
  • Support administrative tasks, to include managing and updating SharePoint databases, printing exercise documentation, and performing registration and data collection roles as assigned
  • Manage training logistics, to include participant lists, venue, security, and access requirements
  • Develop and submit after action reports for each class instructed in coordination with AFIA
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) advisement from functional area of experience to Inspector General and Readiness-related courseware and policy development

Requirements:

  • 2 Years of Experience in IG, EM, or Wing Inspection Team/Exercise Evaluation Team duties in a military service
  • 2 Years of instructional experience 
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Current SECRET security clearance, as a minimum
  • Occasional travel will be required and funded – place of duty is Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB), New Mexico
  • Must reside in local area of Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB) and/or Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products to include familiarity with SharePoint

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Air Force Operations Planning, Execution, and Readiness Reporting
  • Certified Department of the Air Force Inspector General experience at Unit/Command levels
  • HSEEP Certification
  • NIMS / ICS Certifications
  • Instructor Certification
  • Instructional System Design (ISD) Certification
  • Familiar with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate and/or other eLearning content development software
