This role involves the development of a 2D open-world game engine. Responsibilities include defining the overall game vision (gameplay, characters, content, interface, audio, story, and structure), defining game features and their interactions, and collaborating with development and art teams to create prototypes and refine designs. The goal is to ensure an enjoyable player experience with consideration for pacing, content pipeline, monetization, and retention mechanisms. The position is full-time and based in Guangzhou, China.
