Job Description

The AI Automation Lead will be the first member of the team and will work to embed AI into all daily operations to make Aspire a market leader in operational efficiency. The role reports to the COO. Responsibilities include creating Aspire’s AI strategic vision & building Aspire’s AI roadmap, leading AI efforts cross-functionally, implementing low/no code solutions for operational areas such as Customer Support, Onboarding, Fincrime, and seeking out new AI technologies & engaging vendors. The role also involves responsibility for operational efficiency and productivity of the teams.

About the Role

We are setting up a taskforce to embed AI into all our daily operations. You will be the first member of the team. Your goal is to make Aspire a market leader in operational efficiency with the help of AI. You report to the COO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Aspire’s AI strategic vision & building Aspire’s AI roadmap
  • Lead Aspire’s AI efforts cross-functionally and work closely with all key stakeholders (Operations, Product, Tech…) to execute on the AI strategy
  • Implement hands-on low/no code solutions for all major operational areas including Customer Support, Onboarding, Fincrime, etc.
  • Specifically for Onboarding, design and refine data and documents journeys to allow more automatic approvals, refusals or request for additional information
  • Continuously seek out new AI technologies & engage vendors  
  • Responsible for operational efficiency & productivity of the teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have worked on AI products & AI automation before : 5+ years experience in AI & product. You understand the basic operations & risks of financial services, including payments, financial crime, customer operations
  • You can build a vision and action plan : You come up with a vision & strategy for your team, build and action plan based on this and execute it, effectively & without supervision, rallying other leaders to your cause
  • You have strong communication & project management skills - You are used to communicating with senior executives, as well as with on-the-ground teams. Your communication is clear, structured, and concise. You know how to project manage large projects with many dependencies
