Key responsibilities
- Perform monthly balance sheet review for in-scope entities in Europe region, including verifying accuracy and substantiation of all relevant accounts, and implementing appropriate action points in case of deviation from acceptable accounting principles
- Conduct financial statement analysis, coordinate with various process owners to consolidate specific accounting and tax information (as necessary), and provide reports on operational result
- Coordinate internal control attestation with relevant control performers
- Relevant additional tasks, as deemed necessary
- The position will primarily report to and support Area Financial Controller.
We are looking for
- 5 years’ experience in Finance
- Excellent understanding of finance and business
- Knowledge of MAERSK Systems preferred but not required.
- An analytical mind that is able to link/ relate to and analyze information
- Superior Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
- CPA (advantage)
- Familiar with MS Office
- Willing to work on Mid Shift
- Willing to work overtime and on Saturdays whenever the business needs
