This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
2.Work within a ticket-based process to report, track, and resolve bugs efficiently.
3.Develop, update, and maintain manual test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing is aligned with project goals.
5.Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively, ensuring attention to detail in identifying root causes of issues.
6. Utilize Windows scripting to automate basic manual steps in the QA process, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.
7. Leverage Selenium for web testing automation to replace manual testing steps with efficient automated workflows. Familiarity with Selenium is highly preferred, and we have an existing Selenium project that you will help reactivate and enhance.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
1. 7-8 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on Automation testing.
2.Proficiency in working with ticketing systems for bug tracking and resolution (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
3.Experience in writing, updating, and executing manual test plans.
4.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
5.Hands-on experience with Windows scripting (e.g., PowerShell, batch scripts) to automate repetitive tasks.
6.Familiarity with Selenium for web automation testing is preferred.
7.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
2.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests in deployment workflows.
3.Familiarity with additional automation tools is a plus.
