Project description

We've been engaged by an Australian financial institution to support their Calypso asset within wide range of projects like Product, Pricing, Risk & Regulatory, Version upgrades etc. We are looking for multiple people across business analysis, development, and QA as part of this large-scale engagement.

Responsibilities

Work in Agile development teams to develop functionalities of the Calypso application.

Work in providing custom fixes for any issues, Issues analysis, unit testing.

Interact with Senior BA, QA to understand changes and provide technical solution.

Coordinate with Adenza engineering team where required to provide logs, analyze and test new patch fixes.

Initially work with the Calypso upgrade project to V18.

Skills

Must have

5+ years of Calypso Developer experience

Good understanding of Overall Calypso Architecture

Hands-on Calypso development and customizations, like Scheduled Tasks, Reports, Engines

Understanding and application of Calypso APIs

Strong Java, SQL and XML skills

Good analytical skills, should be able to analyze and resolve production issues

Good understanding of Calypso's message and sender frameworks

Ability to write SQL queries and understand Calypso database tables

Good and effective communication skills

Understanding of Fixed Income Markets & Products

Nice to have

Working experience in Cloud migrations, Devops CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins, Gradle

Good understanding of UNIX servers and commands

Basic domain knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives

Understanding of back-office processes like Trade, Transfer workflows, message configuration, Settlements, CREs, Accounting, etc.
