Cloud Security SME

Job Location: Tampa, FL. This is 5 days a week onsite role.

As a Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert within the Technology Research and Innovation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical quality of cloud security-focused deliverables and adherence to security standards and best practices. You will serve as a security and technical expert specializing in cloud security technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. This role requires your physical presence for an onsite interview at the client's location in Tampa, Florida.

Principal Responsibilities:  
- Develop cloud security architectures and automate security for Cloud Proof of Concept (PoC) environments on AWS and Azure;
- Offer expert guidance on Cloud Security (End-point, application, network) with an emphasis on automating cloud security processes;
- Familiarity and experience with Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) solutions and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services:
- Proficient in Security Service Edge (SSE) and experience working with Zscaler:
- Provide security advisory services to project teams to ensure compliance with security policies, guidelines, standards, controls, and governance;
- Contribute to the development of a cloud security strategy, vision, and solutions for DevX;
- Design, develop, and implement new cloud security technologies to support the Technology Research and Innovation team;
- Collaborate with application development teams to identify and fulfill cloud security requirements for automated cloud-based business solutions;
- Define, publish, and maintain processes for security governance and compliance.

Experience:  
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture, development, and integration;
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience preferred; 
- Proficiency in working with CNAPP solutions and Zscaler.

Knowledge and Skills Required:  
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, agile development, and application development best practices in AWS and Azure environments;
- Up-to-date awareness of cloud security technologies and emerging trends in the market;
- Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to address a wide range of security challenges;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
