The Coordinator, Physical production & US Immigration Services will provide support to the Physical Production and US Immigration Executive for the TV production group within Sony Pictures Television. The ideal candidate has experience in production and with US immigration and O-1 visa process and reading and composing legal documents. The position also provides a broad range of production related administrative responsibilities, making the position multi-faceted.

Reports to the Executive Director, Physical Production and US Immigration, based in Culver City, CA. The estimated hire date is February 2025.
Responsibilities
- Will review documents with Executive Director to learn the process and policies of US Immigration and production
- Will help the Executive Director collect, prepare, submit, and track all required paperwork for visa applications
- Will work with Executive Director and eventually outside counsel, as needed, to follow through on all visa items
- Will work with accounting/finance when submitting payments/check requests for outside counsel and visa related fees, ensure payments are made in real time
- Will learn hoe to obtain production related information to best support the Executive Director on all drama productions
- Will work within production department to track and maintain production schedules and contacts for multiple shows
- Will help create and send documents to various productions as well as track the Executive Director’s production travel approvals and daily workflow
- Will maintain calendar and arrange meetings/calls when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience with US immigration/ strong with O-1 visa process (2+ years preferred, negotiable)
- Strong working knowledge of USCIS visa process and related topics with deep interest in learning and able to retain information
- Prior experience in physical production (television or film)
- Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills and forward thinker
- Deals well with all personalities with a calm and professional attitude
- Entertainment experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient with Mac, excel, calendars and tech savvy
The anticipated base salary for this position is $23.31/hour to $30.30/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
