Intro

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Mid-Level) to join our Analytics team. You’ll bring a proactive mindset, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to analyze user behavior in our games, explore key KPIs, and drive business decisions.

Challenges & Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you’ll partner with several teams across the business to:

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to validate assumptions, provide analytical guidance, and influence roadmap planning.
• Work closely with product teams to understand analytical requirements, including planning, designing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• Build and optimize dashboards that address the business's overall data needs.
• Conduct analysis ranging from quick descriptive ad-hoc requests to in-depth exploratory investigations of critical business questions.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and data-driven decision-making through best practices and actionable insights.
• Actively participate in shaping our data architecture, collection methods, and governance practices.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong foundational skills: Expertise in SQL (any dialect), Python, or R.
• A results-oriented mindset: Proven ability to deliver tasks on time and with precision.
• Statistical proficiency: Strong understanding of analytical techniques and their application to business problems.
• Experience with BI tools: Familiarity with platforms such as Data Studio, Tableau, Sigma.
• Adaptability: Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new domains and technologies quickly.
• Proactive communication: Confidence in sharing challenges, collaborating on solutions, and seeking feedback.
• Work Ethics and Accountability: A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for delivering on commitments, meeting deadlines, and contributing to the team's success.

• Experience in the gaming industry or free-to-play game analytics.
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation.
• Prior experience deploying machine learning models in production.
• Understanding of startup dynamics and working in a fast-paced environment.
