About this role
We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our team. In this role, your time will be split 35%/65% between individual contributor (IC) and people management obligations.
IC Component
You will own the business relationship and analytics throughput for one of our business lines, dealing with data about our financial, earnings or travel products fueled by the membership program and transactional user behaviour. We are looking for someone with 3 or more years of experience as an Analytics or Data Science individual contributor who can autonomously address problems and share actionable recommendations that help grow our business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of experimentation, trend analysis, and causal inference. You should be highly knowledgeable in SQL and Python, comfortable completing peer reviews, and familiar with our techstack or similar tools & services: dbt, Secoda, Looker, Snowflake and Amplitude.
People Management Component
The Data Analytics Manager will guide an experienced and knowledgeable team of data analysts & scientists. You will provide technical mentorship, managerial support in the form of time-off requests and career development planning, and strategic guidance to your team. Ideally, you have previously worked on-the-job in a management role.
