Management and Leadership:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Account Services group.
Provide ongoing training and development for the Account Services team.
Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and the SGEP group on product planning and strategy execution.
Ensure production schedules align with capabilities and that forecasts are up to date and accurate.
Approve paid time off (PTO) requests for team
Ensure both internal and external customer needs are met or exceeded
Work with DCR’s to ensure Composer Forecast is accurate and updated regularly
Other duties assigned
Customer Relations and Account Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met by DCR’s.
Deliver regular status reports to the VP of Game Creation.
Support the preparation of proposals and bids.
Travel to customer sites for key meetings and relationship-building activities.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
Translate analytical research findings and strategic initiatives into actionable game plans, designs, and prize structures.
Ensure the department adheres to SG’s best practices and continuously seeks process improvements.
Education
College degree preferred.
Years of Related Experience
Minimum 7 years lottery industry Instant Product experience; must include or be in addition to minimum 5 years account management with direct client responsibility
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
Strong understanding of the instant product category including product planning, game development, best practices theories, artwork, prize structures and working papers
Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
Ability to garner team buy-in related to department visions and/or corporate changes
Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy with the ability to be a customer advocate while respecting and protecting SG’s best interest
Strong communications skills (verbally and written) with ability to develop well-thought out and cohesive presentation materials such as documents, bid responses, PowerPoint presentations and/or white papers
Solid presentation skills; must be articulate and able to defend point of view in customer interaction while maintaining objectivity
Ability to translate analytics, research findings, strategic initiatives and SG Best Practices into actionable game plans, designs and prize structures
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; attention to details a must
Self-starter and works well independently or in a group with minimal supervision
Resourceful, strong problem solver
Must be able to accommodate frequent travel as required by account needs
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Expert ability level with SG internal systems: VIEW Production Forecasting and Aegis MAP
Strong understanding of SG creative and print processes a plus
