Job Description

Blazing Griffin is seeking experienced freelancers for various roles in game development. They are looking for programmers proficient in Unity, Unreal, console, or mobile development; artists in concept, technical, animation, character, environment, and other relevant art roles; and designers and writers with games experience. Successful candidates will have an up-to-date portfolio and work history, and will need to specify their pay rates. Submissions are kept on file for future projects, and Blazing Griffin will contact freelancers whose skills match project needs. This is a freelance/contract opportunity.

Must have:

Experienced programmers (Unity, Unreal, console/mobile)
Artists (concept, technical, animation, character, environment)
Designers and writers with games experience
Up-to-date portfolio and work history
Specified pay rates

At Blazing Griffin we work on a wide variety of projects ranging from high end photorealism in Virtual Production and game to stylised indie feeling games and apps. We regularly look for temporary support from external contractors and freelancers to help us make these projects a reality and we would like to increase our database of working freelancers and contractors in the area of games.

If you would like to be considered for any future contract and freelance work then we'd love to hear from you and add you to our database. We would love to hear from anyone from the following areas of games development:

- Experienced programmers. With knowledge and experience in Unity, Unreal, console or mobile development.

- Artists from all areas. Concept, technical, animation, character and environment artists and any other game applicable art role.

- Design and Narrative. Writers with games experience and designers from all walks of life.

Please include an up-to-date portfolio and work history as well as your pay rates.

Your submission will be kept on record for future projects and we will reach out to you if your skills meet our needs.

Founded in 2011 as a game development studio, the company has grown from a team of three to a group of companies including Blazing Griffin Games, Blazing Griffin Screen and Blazing Griffin Post-Production based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
