Bachelor's or equivalent experience
Functional/ Technical Skills
Basic understanding of math and statistics concepts.
Familiarity with relevant GAAP and awareness of relationship between different financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Ability or willingness to learn and utilize Financial Systems (Hyperion, SQL, etc.).

• Develops foundational understanding of the company’s reporting and modelling tools by assisting with the implementation of financial models.
• Utilizes resources to complete basic tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and tools.
• Distinguishes between basic activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine basic potential improvements to impact quality.
• Demonstrates basic attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset; double-checks accuracy of own output to ensure high quality delivery.
• Seeks relevant information to ensure own understanding of basic information.
• Assists team members in the creation of basic technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages).
• Develops a basic understanding of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other.

• Understands current economic market and financial trends by reviewing industry or trade publications.
• Assists others in preparing financial statements as well as reporting data.

• Completes basic quality review checks on data using assigned systems.
Understands basic performance indicators related to own work and the importance of metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness).

• Seeks to have a good understanding of (internal and external) customers’ needs, and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges.
• Assists in preparing summary reports for management on the financial results.
