Description

Are you a dynamic and adaptable leader ready to take on a unique challenge? West Pier Studio is seeking a Senior Production Manager to join our talented Unity development team in Brighton, UK. In this role, you’ll play a key part in bridging the gap between our technical development team and a passionate, hands-on client. Your mission? To foster better collaboration, streamline processes, and deliver outstanding interactive software experiences while maintaining a productive and respectful working relationship between all stakeholders.

You’ll be working on exciting projects leveraging Unity3D, .NET technologies, and a mature set of back-end services. If you thrive under pressure, excel at communication, and have a passion for aligning teams and clients toward a shared vision, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Technical Communication and Alignment: Use your project management knowledge in Unity3D development, .NET technologies, and back-end services to bridge the gap between the technical team and the client. Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable discussions, ensuring the team and client are always on the same page.
  • Strategic Project Management: Develop agile frameworks to track milestones, prioritise tasks, and deliver on time. Use tools like Jira to maintain transparency and momentum, ensuring every aspect of the project runs smoothly.
  • Effective Client Communication: Proactively manage and resolve challenges arising from evolving client expectations. Communicate progress clearly, build trust, and maintain a productive dialogue with a hands-on client.
  • Team Advocacy and Support: Empower your team by reducing unnecessary client meeting burdens and shielding them from distractions. Promote a positive and focused environment that lets creativity and innovation thrive.
  • Process Optimisation: Refine meeting structures, improve time management, and tactfully address inefficiencies to keep the team aligned with project goals.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Be the bridge between clients and internal stakeholders. Advocate for your team’s concerns, inspire collaboration, and align objectives to ensure mutual success.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track without compromising quality.
  • Project Administration Delegation: Facilitate scrums, schedule planning meetings, and deliver regular development progress reports, keeping everyone informed and aligned.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • A natural problem-solver with a knack for conflict resolution.
  • Proven experience in software project management, especially in client-facing roles.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and tools like Jira for efficient project tracking.
