Our L&D team @ Easygo are looking for an L&D Specialist to join our team to design, produce and implement learning programs and workshops across the business. You will get to run L&D projects in onboarding, product training and leadership ensuring our people are equipped with the relevant skills to enhance and grow our business. Part of the People and Culture team, you will report into our L&D Manager and work alongside our Learning Designer, and form part of a 400-strong workforce which is growing every week. Please note this is a fixed-term contract for 12 months which will be reviewed towards the end of the contract.  

Your role with us:

As our Learning & Development Specialist, you'll be the driving force behind our training and development programs @ Easygo. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees at Easygo whether it be onboardings, product training, or simply helping employees with guidance on developing their career. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and effective training methodologies to maintain the culture of continuous learning and development within the business. You will have the opportunity to review our current learning programs, make any necessary changes or improvements, and consult with stakeholders across the business on the best learning and development tools for them and their teams. This is not your typical L&D role, it is a unique opportunity for someone looking to join an organisation where we are building L&D from the ground up to a workforce that is keen on L&D and open to all ideas on how to best implement learning solutions. What you will do: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify training and development needs across the company
  • Collaborate with a wide-range of subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify and analyse diverse learning needs, skills gaps, and performance improvement across the business.
  • Work closely with the learning designer to design and build engaging learning content for different departments across the business, including e-learning modules, videos, flyers, interactive activities,assessments, and other multimedia content.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops both in-person and virtually
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development and incorporate them into our learning solutions
  • Support managing the company’s LMS to upload training content, writing course summaries, ensure all content is up to date, and ensure accurate records of employee training and development activities
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation to promote and support training initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's learning strategy

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Learning & Development role, preferably in a technology-focused industry
  • Proficiency in instructional design, learning methodologies, including knowing how to use e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Rise
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience facilitating training sessions and high presentation skills
  • Proven experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Results-driven: You should have a strong sense of accountability and be focused on achieving measurable results, such as improving learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance.
  • Proactive: You should be proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning, and in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in the company's learning strategy.
  • Continuous learner: You should have a passion for learning and professional development, as well as for staying informed about the industries in which the company operates, in order to create relevant and effective learning solutions.
  • Strong communicator: You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with subject matter experts, present insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and create clear, engaging, and effective learning materials.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience working in similar tech companies
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency, online casinos, local currency payments, sports betting, and streaming industries is a plus

About The Company
