As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Conducting audit as per the International Standard on Auditing (ISA), PwC audit methodology and statutory requirements
Developing audit plans, evaluating controls, and identifying higher risk areas, accounting technical matters, and control weaknesses while preparing management letter and suggesting recommendations
Designing and performing Test of Controls (ToCs) to test the effectiveness of the controls in place for reliance during the performance of substantive procedures in accordance with the audit methodology
Assisting the client in application of accounting standards to complex accounting transactions in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Liaising with various professionals, including auditor’s and management’s expert, such as lawyers, actuaries, independent valuers and information technology experts in respect of execution of additional audit procedures and reporting of critical matters to the client
Reviewing compliance of applicable laws and industry specific regulations, including Companies Act and corporate laws
Analyzing and reviewing financial statements for compliance with local statutory requirements and IFRSs, ensuring adequacy of reporting system and adequacy of audit procedures
Leading and supervising client facing teams through the planning to execution and completion phase of the engagement
Coaching and developing team members by sharing knowledge and providing learning opportunities to cultivate technical competencies
Demonstrating project management skills and lead large and complex engagements effectively while maintaining the quality of deliverables
