Summary

Luxoft Financial Services seeks a Senior Murex Environment Management Consultant to manage Murex environments, respond to client queries regarding configurations, assist with setup (launchers, scripts, load balancing), troubleshoot performance issues, provide progress updates, monitor EOD batches, manage incidents, maintain knowledge bases, and provide requirements for bug fixes and improvements. The role involves working closely with project, infrastructure, and production teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience supporting Murex applications and experience in environment management, using tools like UNIX, SQL, JAMS, and shell scripting. Experience with CI/CD processes is a plus.

Project description

Luxoft Financial Services has one of the world's leading Murex practices. We are a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade and migration. We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance.

Responsibilities

Perform the day to day activity of a CEM Consultant

with a focus on Murex environment management

Respond to customer (client) queries related environment configuration

Assist customer with set-up of: launchers, wrapper scripts, load balancing, and launcher allocations

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environment instability, bottlenecks, and/or poor performance

Provide updates on the progress to the internal team

EOD batch monitoring (intensive and time sensitive during month-end closing) and incident management

Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests, working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams

Maintain knowledge base for the applications and processes in scope of the team on the Wiki

Provide requirements to build team for bug fixing and continuous improvements

Skills

Must have

5+ years of relevant experience in supporting Murex application

Previous Experience in Murex environment management

Experience with tools: UNIX, SQL, JAMS (or similar Job Scheduling tool)

Shell scripting

EOD and config management

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team

Experience with modern Continuous Integration processes and toolchains

Nice to have

Murex Binary Upgrade exposure
