Networking Software and System Architect

NVIDIA is looking for a brilliant Software & Systems Architect in the NIC Software/Firmware Architecture group. You will be part of a team that shapes the next generation of data center NICs and data processors, works closely with hardware architects, SW architects, R&D teams, and external customers. What you’ll be doing:

• The position will include defining the next generation NIC and DPU features for data centers

• Work closely with customers to understand the needs and pain points

• End-to-end design of the SW stack from application level to HW interface

• Work closely with HW architect in order to define the HW features and SW-HW interface to fit the solution

• Advanced development and research in network protocols, new network technologies, networking drivers, accelerations, RISC-V OS, and defining SW/HW interface

• Dealing and learning a wide range of areas in Smart-Nics, storage, HPC, security, emulation offloads, and more

What we need to see:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep into new areas

• Work independently, work with customers, and guide R&D teams

• Strong communication skills

• Able to drive new solutions based on any issues that arise
